King, we had more successes on the disposals of the remaining commercial
buildings at this former RAF base.
Building
43, about 5000 sq ft, originally an officers’ mess, but most recently used as a
gym and a children’s day nursery, has been sold to a private investor. The
building will be refurbished for office use.
Our
clients have also agreed to sell 8 Sopwith Road, the former Co-op store, before
they relocated into their new unit in The Village Square, to a veterinary
practise. Exchange is expected shortly. This
leaves two commercial plots, either side of the Village Square retail units. A
planning application is currently in, for two office buildings, one of
approximately 6000 sq ft and one of approximately 8500 sq ft.
